MELISSA SCOPELITIS

In addition to my work featured on this site, some more info about me:
- Served as an intern for the Jim Henson Company in their NY Muppet workshop photographing puppets and props for an in-house database, as well as assisted in building props for the "Halloween Bear" episode of Bear in the Big Blue House for the Disney Channel.
-Since 2015, been an international social media promoter for Tiny Life, a charity based out of Belfast, Ireland aiding premature infants & their families
- Served as a red carpet runner for the Met Gala between 2016-2019, and then one final time in 2024, assisting some of NYC's top event photographers on one of the fashion industry's biggest nights of the year
- When not involved in photography, I dabble in television style puppeteering and cartooning on the side, while working full time as an insurance broker/assistant account executive  all while residing on Long Island with my husband of 12 years, and our cat, Mozart.
